I think that what you published was very logical. However, what about this? suppose you were to create a killer post title?
I am not suggesting your content isn't solid, however what if you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Nigel plays with his new walking toy." is kinda boring. You ought to look at Yahoo's home page and see how they write news titles to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to grab people interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
