At camp, we learned a lot about bats.
Bats fly with their mouths open. This helps them catch
over 2,000 mosquitoes every night.
John and I spent a lot of time perfecting our bat faces.

I would have thought that the fourth graders would have loved your bat faces. They probably secretly loved them and t hought you two were really cool for making them but didn't want to show it. It's not cool in fourth grade to approve of what teachers/adults do especially when you are almost in fifth grade. I am glad that you didn't get frozen that way, though!
Love you!
why isn't anyone commenting on our batface post??
i think this is the best post we have had in a really long time.
I like the last photo of John with his teeth showing...and I liked the comment that Wil put on your face book about using the bat face pics for Christmas cards...that might take a little explaining though.
I like the last picture of you both, especially of John with his nice smile. I think bats would see better with little pointey rimmed glasses like Laura's.
When are you comming to Memphis? We need to get you on the schedule.
i wanted to see a real bat face for a project, geez
