Glad you finally posted photos of your apartment! It looks cute. Can't wait to see it in person!
I am jealous that you have some counter space. I basically have none in my kitchen. I hope that you are having a fantastic time settling in and discovering new places and food. And I'm glad that gray cat seems to be cozy in Canada.
i think small fridges are a french thing...the one we had in albertville was small and yet it was bigger than some of the other students'. the tiny freezer is what i really had a hard time with. it's a different mindset to buy what you need when you need it rather than the way our mom's do with stocking the extra freezer with frozen meals. ;)
